Which embassy do I apply to? If visiting multiple countries, you apply to the embassy of the country where you will spend the most nights. If equal time, apply to your first point of entry. STJ will identify the correct embassy for your itinerary — ask us on WhatsApp.

Our Step-by-Step Process

We guide you from initial assessment to visa collection — taking the stress out of the process.

01

Free Initial Assessment

WhatsApp or call us. We assess your travel purpose, nationality, UAE residency status and recommend the correct embassy and visa category.

02

Document Checklist

We send you a tailored document checklist based on your profile (tourist, business, medical, etc.) and the specific country you're applying to.

03

Document Review

We review every document before submission. Bank statements, employment letters, hotel bookings — we check formatting, sufficiency and consistency.

04

VFS / Embassy Booking

We guide you on booking your biometric appointment at VFS Global or the relevant embassy visa centre in Dubai.

05

Application Submission

We prepare the application form and cover letter. You attend the VFS appointment — the process takes 15–20 minutes.

06

Passport Collection

Once processed, your passport is returned via VFS. Standard time is 15 calendar days. We track the status and keep you informed.

Standard Documents Required

Documents vary slightly by country and visa type. Below is the standard checklist. STJ will provide a tailored list for your specific application.

Valid passport (min. 3 months beyond travel dates, 2 blank pages)
UAE Residence Visa + Emirates ID (valid)
Completed Schengen visa application form
Recent passport-size photographs (35mm × 45mm, white background)
Travel insurance (min. EUR 30,000 medical coverage, Schengen-wide)
Confirmed return flight itinerary
Hotel bookings / accommodation proof
Bank statements (last 3–6 months, original bank letterhead)
Proof of sufficient funds (min. EUR 50–100/day depending on country)
Employment letter stating salary, position, leave approval
Leave approval letter from employer
Trade licence / salary certificate (for self-employed / business owners)
Tenancy contract or DEWA bill (proof of UAE residency)
Travel history (previous visas / passport copies)
Cover letter explaining purpose of visit and itinerary
Invitation letter (if visiting family / for business meetings)
⚠️ Common Rejection Reasons to Avoid: Insufficient funds shown in bank statements, discrepancy between stated purpose and documents, no clear itinerary, travel insurance not covering the full duration, or applying to the wrong embassy. STJ's document review eliminates these errors before you submit.

How long does a Schengen visa take to process from Dubai?
Standard processing is 15 calendar days from the date of submission at the embassy or VFS centre. Some embassies offer express processing (5–7 days) for an additional fee. We recommend applying at least 4–6 weeks before your travel date to allow buffer time.
Can I apply for a Schengen visa if I am on a UAE visit visa?
You can apply from the UAE if you are a UAE resident (holding a valid UAE residence visa). If you are on a short-term visit visa, most Schengen embassies require you to apply in your country of residence. Contact us and we will advise based on your specific situation.
Which embassy should I apply to if I am visiting multiple Schengen countries?
You apply to the embassy of the country where you will spend the most nights. If you spend equal time in multiple countries, apply to the embassy of your first entry point. STJ will identify the correct embassy for your itinerary — just share your travel plan with us.
How much does a Schengen visa cost from Dubai?
The standard embassy fee is EUR 80 (approximately AED 320) for adults. VFS service charges add AED 80–160 depending on the country. STJ consultancy fee starts from AED 1,000 per application, covering documentation review, checklist preparation, cover letter drafting and submission guidance.
Is travel insurance mandatory for a Schengen visa?
Yes. Travel insurance is mandatory for every Schengen visa application. It must cover the entire Schengen zone, the full duration of your trip, and provide a minimum of EUR 30,000 in medical and repatriation coverage. Without valid insurance, your application will be rejected. STJ can advise on suitable insurance providers available in Dubai.
