We have been filing UK visit visa applications from our offices in both the UK and UAE for over two decades. Whether it is your first application or you have faced a previous refusal — we assess your profile, build the strongest possible case, and guide you through every step.
What Makes the UK Different
The UK is unique among major destinations: even the standard 6-month visa is issued as multiple entry — not single entry. You can enter and exit the UK as many times as you wish during its validity. The UK also offers long-term visitor visas of 2, 5 and 10 years — allowing multiple visits while limiting each individual stay to 6 months. Very few countries in the world offer this flexibility to visitors.
The UK has moved to a fully digital eVisa system. Your visa is issued electronically and linked to your passport — there is no physical sticker or vignette. You visit the VFS Global biometric centre in Dubai once only to have your fingerprints and photo taken. After the decision, your eVisa can be viewed and shared online via the UKVI website.
What the Immigration Officer Reviews
Every UK visit visa application is reviewed by a Home Office immigration officer. Understanding what they look for is the difference between approval and refusal. STJ has spent 20+ years studying these assessments across hundreds of nationalities.
The officer assesses whether you have sufficient personal funds to cover your trip without needing to work or claim benefits. This includes your income, savings, assets and financial stability — not just the balance in your account on application day.
Your stated reason for visiting the UK must be credible and consistent across all documents. Tourism, family visit, business, or medical — the officer checks that your itinerary, invitation letters and supporting documents all align with your stated purpose.
The officer must be satisfied you will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Strong ties to your home or resident country — employment, property, family, business — are critical. The weaker your ties, the greater the risk of refusal.
Proof of family bonds — marriage certificate, children's birth certificates, dependents in the UAE or home country — significantly strengthens the assurance of return. A person with strong family ties is far less likely to overstay.
All documents — passport, Emirates ID, employment letter, bank statements, hotel bookings — must be valid, current and consistent. Discrepancies between documents are a common reason for refusal. STJ verifies every document before submission.
Previous travel to the UK, Schengen, USA or other visa-required countries is positive evidence of compliance. Previous refusals or overstays — in any country — must be disclosed honestly and addressed in your application.
Critical — Read This Before You Apply
The UK Home Office immigration officer does not just look at your account balance. They scrutinise every significant credit and debit transaction on your statement. If money appears in your account that cannot be clearly explained, it raises serious doubts about the authenticity of your financial profile.
Common red flags that lead to refusal:
Sudden large cash deposits shortly before applying suggest borrowed funds and are almost always flagged. The officer is looking for genuine savings, not borrowed money temporarily placed in your account.
Money received from a third party without explanation — a relative, a business partner — with no supporting documentation (transfer letter, loan agreement, business invoice) is a significant concern.
If your employment letter states one salary but your bank credits show a different figure, the officer will question which is accurate. These must match exactly.
A savings account with a high balance that shows no regular activity — no salary, no bills, no normal spending — looks artificially prepared. Officers are trained to identify this pattern.
Previous Refusals
A previous UK visa refusal does not close the door permanently. What matters is why it was refused and how the next application addresses those specific concerns. Over the past 20 years, our team has successfully obtained approvals for clients who had been refused once, twice, and even three or more times.
"We had two UK visa refusals before coming to STJ. They reviewed our documents, explained exactly what the officer was concerned about, and we got approval on our third attempt."

How STJ Works With You
We review your current profile — residency, employment, finances, travel history, family situation and any prior refusals — and give you an honest assessment before you commit to applying.
We provide a tailored document checklist based on your specific profile, nationality, visa category and purpose of travel.
We review your bank statements in detail. We advise which transactions need letters of explanation, what supporting documents to prepare, and how to present your finances correctly.
We complete the online application form, prepare a tailored cover letter addressing the officer's likely concerns, and check every document for consistency.
You attend one appointment at VFS Global in Dubai for fingerprints and photo. Your passport stays with you — this is the UK eVisa process. The appointment takes 15–20 minutes.
Standard decision time is a minimum of 21 working days. Once approved, your eVisa is issued digitally. We check the visa details with you to ensure all information is correct.
